Dream House Mostly Completed.

As of June 27th we have very few jobs left besides decorating and moving in. The house needs to be connected to the sewer. The solar panels need to be moved to a better spot for direct sunlight and mounted to the rack. There will be a total of four panels in place. The storage doors for my “shed”, on the front of the house, need to be finished up. There are four drawer pulls to be attached and clothes rods mounted in my closet. After that it will be some cleaning and officially moving in.

Drawers below stairs and next to sink still need the pulls attached. Green stairs lead to sleeping loft above.

Happy it is almost done! Thanks so much to my dad the “contractor”. My mom the staining professional and interior designer. Trish for your assistance in all build activities, but especially for the moral support, and Carter for helping out and making us laugh. Without my wonderful family this never would have been built.

  1. Hi Nate,   It all looks just great! I’m really happy for you, that you have your own, new home, and that it is ready for you! Congratulations! Thanks for sending me your updates.   Evy

  2. House looks amazing! It must be wonderful to finally be at the stage of move in. We are still working on our tiny home and I can not wait until move in day! I love the blog. Great pictures! I know it must have been hard working through the winter in northern NY as I am from Watertown originally.

    • Thanks Chrissy, stick with your build. It feels so wonderful to accomplish your goal and have a tiny house of your own. I live onTug Hill so we didn’t work much during January and February due to the weather and lack of motivation, but the house got done in just over a year while working full time as well as building. A lot was accomplished by my father also. So glad for everyone that helped me. Good luck in your endeavor.

  3. Very attractive and livable. We got a tour at family reunion and love the tidyness, is that a word, and light.
